Enrollment in a class is the BEST way to get consistent, guaranteed recurring lessons held during the highest demanded hours.
Class Attendance Policies
1) By enrolling in a class, you are committing to the ENTIRE duration of the course (Regular Session typically September to March; Summer Session typically June to first week of August). If you are not fully confident you will attend at least 80% of the class, please do not enroll in a class.
2) Athletes must notify us when they are unable to attend a scheduled class. Send an email to flip@theflipsidenwa.com as soon as they know they will miss a class and include the exact date(s) the athlete will be missing. Letting us know this is very important as it allows the coach ample time to create lesson plans that are most beneficial of every athlete in the class.
3) Missed classes cannot be exchanged, refunded, or credited for another lesson/class/event/service. We understand athletes sometime must miss a scheduled class. There is no penalty for missed classes; however, if an athlete misses too many classes, they may be asked to leave the class in order to make room for another athlete that can attend consistently.
4) We ensure that all Program Group Classes will have 28-weeks of classes and all Skill Development Class will have 12-weeks of classes. Classes are not scheduled on holidays, and thus there no make-up classes for holidays. You can learn more about these classes in the FAQs of our website.
5) Classes unable to be held in-person due to inclement weather will have a live Zoom class with their coach instead. We will notify athletes as soon as an inclement weather closure is determined and provide details and access to their Zoom class. We aim to hold these Zoom classes at the same time as the regularly scheduled class time. There are no make-up classes in these circumstances.
6) If you need to remove your athlete from the entire class, you must reach out to us directly at flip@theflipsidenwa.com as soon as you are aware of the needed withdrawal. Only if the withdrawal is due to unforeseen circumstance, you can receive a 50% credit of the prorated pre-paid tuition. Once you have been removed from a class, you can not re-enroll in that course that season; however, you can enroll in future classes.
